If This Sounds Familiar

You want this. You're just not sure where to start.

You want this for your child. You're just not sure where to start.

Almost every sister who comes to us has tried something before. It isn't that you don't care. You care deeply. It's that nothing so far was built around you.

Every mother who comes to us has tried something before: an app that got deleted, a crowded Zoom class, a teacher who was harsh. It's not that your child can't learn. The way they were taught wasn't built for them.

"I can read… but I know I make mistakes, and no one corrects me."
"I recite the same three short surahs in every salah, because I'm not confident with the rest."
"I don't even remember the Arabic letters properly any more."
"I'm a revert. There's no one at home I can learn from."
"Honestly? I feel shy starting again at my age."
"My child can read… but I don't think the pronunciation is right."
"He memorises fast and forgets just as fast, and I'm not sure he understands any of it."
"She gets bored and distracted in big group classes."
"I don't want a strict teacher who makes my child afraid of mistakes."
"Honestly? My own Tajweed isn't strong enough to teach them myself."

What you've probably already tried

Tried it

Apps and YouTube videos

Great for a spark of motivation. But an app can't hear you. No one notices the letter you've been saying wrong for years, so the mistake quietly becomes a habit.

Tried it

The big group class

Fifteen students, one teacher, and two minutes each to recite. The confident ones get louder. The shy ones quietly stop coming.

Tried it

A local teacher, or a relative

Kind, but busy. Or strict enough that every mistake starts to feel like a small shame. Without a structure, progress stalls after the basics.

It was never a discipline problem. It was a missing-structure problem.

You're not lazy, and you're not behind.

Most people don't stop learning because they don't care. They stop because the class didn't feel safe, or never showed them the next step. That is exactly what we built differently: one teacher, one clear path, and all the patience in the world.

The EmanTime Teaching Team
What We Believe

Strengthen the mother, and you strengthen a generation.

When a mother learns to recite with confidence, it never stays with her. It becomes the surah her son hears at bedtime, the dua her daughter learns in the car, the voice her children follow at the iftar table.

That's why EmanTime teaches sisters and their children under one roof, with one gentle method, so the whole family grows together.

And if you came to Islam as an adult, without family to teach you: you can start here from the very first letter, and one day give your children what no one gave you.

Ustadah Hamira, founder of EmanTime
A note from our founder
Ustadah Hamira

"He wasn't being lazy. He just didn't know what he was saying."

My mother taught me the Qul surahs when I was little. For years, I recited them simply because she told me to. Then I read what they meant, and the same words hit completely differently.

I saw it again with my own son. I asked him to recite an-Nas and al-Falaq every night, and honestly, he did it maybe half the time. Then I explained what those surahs protect him from. He started reciting them on his own.

That's what I want for every family who comes to us: to learn the Qur'an correctly, gently, and with meaning.

How EmanTime Teaches

The Gentle Mastery Path

Every EmanTime student, five years old or fifty, moves through the same four stages, in order, at their own pace. No stage is skipped, because a mistake learned early takes years to unlearn. We assume no prior knowledge: you can begin before you know a single letter.

01

Arabic Letters

From Alif, Baa, Taa, at your pace, not a syllabus deadline. What it means for you: a foundation with no cracks in it.

02

Correct Placement

Mouth and tongue placement (Makharij) through encouragement and repetition. What it means for you: pronunciation that's right from the start.

03

Reading Clearly

Slow, clear reading, only once the foundation is genuinely solid. What it means for you: confidence instead of guessing.

04

Tajweed Logic

Understanding why each rule works, not just memorising it. What it means for you: recitation that becomes natural, and beautiful.

An Honest Word

EmanTime is a beautiful fit for some families and not for others.

EmanTime will feel right if…

  • You want to learn correctly from the start, not build habits you'll spend years unlearning
  • You're starting from zero, coming back after years away, or new to Islam, and you want patience, not pressure
  • A female teacher and a private, respectful space matter to you and your family
  • You want steady, visible progress, and can give it two or more classes a week

It may not be the fit if…

  • You're looking for a big group class or a competitive environment
  • You want maximum speed, even at the cost of reciting correctly
  • You want one-off lessons with no structure or follow-through
  • Two classes a week won't fit your life right now. We'd rather you wait than rush.
Questions

Everything you're probably wondering.

What actually happens in the 3-day free trial?
Real, full one-to-one classes, not a demo or a sales call. Your teacher gently checks the level, starts teaching from exactly where you (or your child) are, and you see how it feels. If it isn't right, you simply don't continue. You pay nothing and owe nothing.
I don't know a single Arabic letter. Can I really start?
Yes. We assume no prior knowledge at all. The Gentle Mastery Path begins at Alif, and your teacher builds from there, level by level, at your pace.
I'm a revert, and I feel embarrassed starting from zero. Is this for me?
Especially for you. Every class is private, so no one else hears your first attempts, and your teacher is a woman who teaches beginners every day. No question is too basic here. You'll be learning from the very first letter, with someone patient beside you.
Are the classes really one-to-one?
Always. Every class is private with a single teacher, never a shared group class. The pace, the correction and the attention are entirely yours.
Who are the teachers?
CPD-certified female Arab teachers, experienced with both adult beginners and children. They're trained in correct recitation and Tajweed, and in patient, respectful teaching that builds confidence first.
What ages do you teach?
Children from around age 4 through the teenage years, and adult sisters of every level, from complete beginners to advanced Tajweed students. Because every class is one-to-one, the teacher adapts the pace and style to the learner's age.
Can my children and I both learn with EmanTime?
Yes. Each of you has your own private classes and your own level, so a mother and her children can each learn at their own pace with the same method. Choose "Both of us" when you book, and our team will help you plan it.
How much does it cost?
Qur'an, Tajweed and Islamic Studies plans run from 2 classes a week (£/$43 a month) to 5 classes a week (£/$90 a month). Arabic plans, for both Arabic Language and Quranic Arabic, run from £/$50 a month (2 classes a week, £/$150 every 3 months) to £/$96.67 a month (5 classes a week, £/$290 every 3 months). All plans are charged per 3-month module, and you never choose one before your free trial.
What if my schedule changes, or it stops working for us?
Plans run in flexible 3-month modules with no long-term lock-in. If life changes, you can pause or stop between modules. Just message our team and we'll take care of it.
Can boys join?
EmanTime's classes are taught by female teachers to sisters and children. Message our team about your son, and we'll help you find the right fit.

One Quiet Class Is All It Takes

Imagine next Ramadan. You recite, and your children follow.

The house is quiet before iftar. You open the mushaf and recite clearly, confidently, knowing every letter is right. Then your children read the next line after you. That moment doesn't start with pressure. It starts with one patient teacher and one gentle class. The first three days are on us.
